Convenient short term rental in a secure location. Unit is clean and easily accessable. Had some difficulty operating the keypad for exit though.

I had a great experience! Totally forgot my keys to the storage unit on the counter and the girl up front ran out to my car with them for me. On top of that I turned in all of the boxes I didn't use and got a refund on them!! Thank you!! Definitely five stars from me!

The local employees have always been wonderful. I give them 5 stars. But the disrespect that corporate shows long time tenants is abysmal (1 star). It takes a long time to get repairs approved and comoleted (I,e, broken a/c of lights), and the rent increases are too frequent. I leased a second unit a few months ago and got an increase already. After 10 years with my original unit I was spending twice as much as a new tenant (without any special deal for them). I just don't understand. If you have auto pay, a fabulous record there as a customer, and still pay twice as much...it's just wrong. It has been my experience that they would rather I leave. And I wouldn't have written this review if I hadn't been sent several requests to do so. I was just whining to friends before. I want to love you guys. It wouldn't take much on your part. A simple loyalty reward would speak volumes.

I highly recommend Public Storage on Union Rd. I had booked another location and was in touch with the manager all day long updating as i was running late. I let her know I would be on time to 10 minutes at the most late, and had left her my number if she needed to contact me. I arrived 3 minutes late. CLOSED!! No phone call, no nothing. There I was with a 28' truck full of stuff that had to be back the next morning, along with a towing trailer with my mini van on it, and my wife following in my Expedition with my 3 kids. We drove for hours and the lady knew it. She knew we had got caught in a snowstorm and she was completely gone at 6:03pm. I then looked around at the property and realized there was NO WAY I was getting the 28' into the location. What a bad setup! As angry as i was, I decided to stick with PS but find a better, more deserving location. That's just what i did. The Staff was extremely helpful with switching my reservation over, and the location on Union Rd in Gastonia, is much better equipped and layed out to accommodate such a big truck. At the end of the morning, i was happy. the location is clean, staff is helpful, and price is right. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Go see William today, he is great!
